We took Audrey to her first Dodger game on July 7th, Dodgers vs the Florida Marlins. We were kind of nervous taking her out to such a noisy place but she did just great. She was a little shocked at first seeing so many people and hearing all the noise but after about 2 minutes, she was just fine. She even managed to sleep amongst all the noise. It was an evening game and Dodgers lost that night 2-7. Have I ever been to a game when Dodgers won? I can't recall....
Audrey's first 4th of July Holiday began with a neighborhood parade at 9am. Our neighbors all got together and walked the streets in festive gear. Some even brought out their vintage cars and motocycles to show off. It was great to see all the people in our neighborhood. We even got to meet baby Sarah, born just 2 weeks before Audrey. There was even more babies really close to Audrey's age so it was nice to know that there are so many kids in our neighborhood! Afterwards we had a family BBQ but unfortunately Audrey couldn't stay awake for all the fireworks. Even the loud noise from the fireworks didn't seem to wake her up.
Audrey is smiling A LOT now and she just loves to see mommy and daddy in the mornings. She has the biggest smiles in the morning. She somewhat has a routine going now and is sleeping any where from 5-7 hours straight, we are sooo lucky! Mommy was so excited when she captured Audrey's smile on camera for the first time (Audrey sitting on the glider). She can't sit quite yet but mommy got lucky to capture the smile while she let go very briefly. We've had several visitors come over to meet Audrey, thank you for coming everyone!! At her 2 month checkup, Audrey is now 11 pounds 10 ounces (60th percentile) and 23 inches in length (70th percentile). 
5 days before Audrey turned 2 months was Mommy's First Mother's Day. Mommy received a bouquet of flowers from Audrey (and Daddy). According to Daddy, Audrey specifically wanted to give Mommy a bouquet of flowers using colors of her birthstone (Aquamarine). The picture was taken in the backyard but unfortunately Audrey was asleep, sshhhh....
The first month had to be the most toughest and roughest month of all. We want to kill everyone who already have kids who did not warn us of the lack of sleep and tiredness associated with becoming new parents!! But no matter how tough things get, we just love Audrey to pieces and thank God for the joy and happiness she brings our family. At her one month appointment, Audrey is now 8 pounds and 14 ounces (45th percentile) and 22.5 inches in length (60th percentile). Half of her umbilical cord fell off on April 3rd.
Daddy and mommy are adjusting to life with baby Audrey at home. With Audrey feeding every 2-3 hours, we don't get much sleep at all! I don't think it has quite hit us that we are now parents. 
Announcing Audrey Hikari Fu! It was one tough delivery but mommy, daddy and baby are all well. We spent 5 days in the hospital while mommy recuperated from surgery. We will always remember how nice all of the nurses were at the Tarzana-Encino Regional Hospital.
